San Bernardino Adult School participates in the California Apprenticeship Training program. Through the California Division of Apprenticeship Standards, 8 different trade occupations are apprenticed in the Inland Empire. Apprentices earn money while they work on the job alongside journeyman craftsmen. To supplement their training, apprentices attend classes during the evenings or on weekends learning related skills. Apprenticeship training lasts from two to five years, depending upon the trade.
