		The Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation Pathway integrates various facets of the hospitality industry: lodging, travel, and tourism; event planning; theme parks, attractions, and exhibitions; and recreation. Students engaged in this pathway have broad experiences related to the specific industry segments, including industry awareness; organizational management; customer service; sales and marketing; facilities management; lodging; travel destinations; and reservations, ticketing, and itineraries. Complete a course interest form and turn it in to the counseling office at your high school. Requirement: Current enrollment at San Gorgonio High School Curriculum and Prerequisites: Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation Curriculum Prerequisites: None

San Gorgonio High School: Melanie Sypherd, Teacher
Ms. Sypherd received her industry experience working for the Wendy's Restaurant Corporation and in customer service for Albertson Supermarkets. She attended Tuskegee University and received her BS degree in Apparel and Merchandizing Management at Cal Poly Pomona.
