Tests and quizzes comprise 50 percent of the student's grade. It is important that students learn to study and prepare for these formal assessments. There will be tests at the end of each standard and a benchmark test each quarter. Quizzes will be given intermittently throughout each unit. 
Students may retake tests after coming in for at least 15 minutes of tutoring. Tests and quizzes can be made up before or after school, or by appointment. Quizzes graded in class can not be retaken, but students can take an alternate make-up quiz.
