Congratulations 2013 Winner
Congratulations to Arroyo Valley High School science teacher Matt Blennau on winning the 2013 Character Education Award!

Purpose
The Character Education Award (formerly the Duncan Webb Award) honors teachers in San Bernardino public schools for instilling good values in their students.

Selection
Principals of San Bernardino City Unified Schools are asked to nominate one teacher and describe how that teacher supports and instills character education in the classroom. A panel of judges from the five area Rotary Clubs evaluate the nominees, and the top five are identified as finalists. The top-ranked finalist is honored as the  Character Education Award winner.
