Printing Services Guidelines
Printing Work Orders
Printing Work Orders must be filled out in Navigate.
All originals must be on white paper.
All originals must be numbered in sequential order (an original is any page that contains printing).
When asking for separate packets to be printed (each packet including the same number of copies) on the same work order, use slip sheets to divide the packets and state under special instructions how many separate packets you are having printed.
When asking for one and two-sided printing, make sure to specify under special instructions, which page numbers are one sided and which page numbers are two sided.
Be sure to specify collate or no collate when a job contains more than one original.
It takes five to 10 working days for most print orders. More time is needed for larger jobs, typesetting, color, ink, film, and during peak times. Do not use A.S.A.P. for due date.
When submitting a job that will be printed on a regular basis ask about assigning a form number to that job so that it may be kept on file.
Be sure to attach a copy of the work order to the originals you pony to Printing Services.
